Hundreds of people gathered in a remote corner of the UN building in New York to see what some 40 people dressed as freaks, geaks and "trick or treats" were fussing about. Yelling in some alien language and displaying placards in inelligible sketches, the small crowd was assumed to be members of a starwar fan club or alien encounter conference spectators.

In reality the 40 people shouting slogans were self selected representatives of the 4 jaats and 36 barnas of Nepal, protesting the rise to power of the self selected King of Nepal, His Majest the King Gynendra Bir Bikram Shah who now wanted to be known as 'King G the pimp daddy'.

King G's motorcade along with his security personell in motorbikes and black limosine started crusing by the protestors, slowly, to the music of Tupac (me against the world). King G himself was in his pimpmobile a '77 pink cadillac, repotedly with two blonds - Peace (shanti) and Creation (srijana) on either side. The protest turned violent when the sunroof of the pimpmobile slid open and someone from the inside slowly raised their hand and "flipped a bird" at the protestors. The NYDP had to restrain a few protestors.

During the conference, King G promised to take both Shanti and Srijana back to Nepal, taking them from house to house in every corner of Nepal working them until he was exhausted and satisfied with the outcome.

Outside the protestors still shouting slogans slowly moved their protest to Times Square where a live concert was being performed by former singers and actors from Nepal who are now residing in the US as refugees, legally, illegally and how so ever they got their visas, and also by international artists like The Queens, artist formerly known as Prince, Queen Latifa, King of Pop Michael Jackson, King of R&B R Kelly etc.

After the concert the Grand Marshal of Ceremony Cindy Sheehan gave a heart warming speech about how her son died in Iraq and she called on Bush to Withdraw all american troops from Nepal immeditely. Her speech was followed by speeches from Guest speakers like President Mussaraf of Pakistan, Prince Charles, Prince Abhulla, the prince of Monoco. All of them emphasised the need for democratically elected government in Nepal. Even Saddam Hussein sent a message to show support against a dictator. In a message from President Bush delivered by his press secretary, President Bush wrote that he like the country of Naples and have been there once on his way to the Siccily from Rome, he was in full support of the Italian people for whatever cause they are fighting for, since he like Naples food especially from Pizza hut.

A fund raiser for the victims of Hurricane Katrina was also held during the concert and after the airfare and hotel expensed were deducted, $2.36 was handed in person to Mayor Nagin of New Orleans, who thanked the protestors and welcomed all the Nepalese who were displaced to come and stay at the now empty Superdome.

to be continued.......

Your are right anti Raw!

Murari Raj was most corrupt and greedy foreign Secretary, when he was in power
he upgraded his own cousin brothers of Bhojpur, from Kharidari Post to Section Officer and sent both of them in New York and Washington DC, as First Secretary respectively
You imagine if some one was competent for section officer why should those guys hang on with Kharidar Post? I personally congratulated those Lucky Kharidars on being promoted to Section Officers and posted one of the prestigious Places such as Washington and New York. Even if they did not know how to response English letter to appropriately.
Another Nonsense things Murary Baje did was, his own brother was hired as Ambassador Maid in New York at his own resident and his own Bhanja was hired as Office Assistant in New York Mission when he was Permanent Representative to New York Mission. Another Sala was able to get in our Embassy London. For personal reason I don't want to mention their name if it is necessary I will Come with 100 % proof. This is an example of Murari Baje's honesty when his in power.
