because he has learned from Christopher Plummer, the head honcho lawyer, that the elder prince is going to be targeted. he may have wanted to alert the prince.

When gorge clooney was sent to beruit .. his mission was to kill the prince. So, why would he want to alert him? Al Masawi.. turned out to be double dealer..

well, when George Clooney went to Beruit, he was on a mission to kill a prince. When he tries to save a prince, he is no longer working for anyone, he is a freeman. He tries to do what his conscience tells him is right, hoina? Don't know... ha, birshisakyo tyo movie, so much was happening in the movie. Awesome movie tho. eh.

YEah great movie!

I loved the scene in which the prince took Matt Damon to a room and lectured aobut his plans.
Also, everything was fine as long as US was getting oil for cheap. The minute the prince tried to raise the oil price to make some money for his country, he became a terrorist..... what a coincidence, eh!
