I have great story to tell about the room and the owner.
Few years back, a very good friends of mine had actually lived there. They still recall, it was the most harse time of their life. They says they are trying to make profit by over charging the tenants. Here it is:
1 The room is in the attic(YOU WILL TOUCH THE CEILING WHEN YOU TRY TO STRETCH) and is wicked expensive. they charge $600 for that room.
2 Eventhough you tell them grocery is separate, dont be surprized when your foods get missing and your grocery.
3 The cable bill just for the TV and local phone is $100. They wont show you the actual bill. add heat & hot water on top of that.
4. Have had previous police history.(When you tell them you are moving out, there is a great drama both the husband and the wife plays to get the extra money).SOME PEOPLE EVEN HAVE TO CALL POLICE WHEN THEY TRIED TO MOVED OUT.
5 In the end, when they are sure they are not gonna get the extra money, they be very nice and ask you to swear,not to tell anyone about the drama and police incident... etc.
