Maoists to ‘tax’ Chitwan Rs 50m

Is it right for the maoist to issue such draconial anti human right threats filled extortion. With a mearge salary, when civil servants are to provide for their family, now this 50% to maoists.
It needs serious debate, if it is right way, what will be consequences and how the leadership of the maoist party play it right.
Not impressed, with the news and the hardships that it will create, for some it may just be ok, since they can earn more under the table, but for sincere civil servants..and again will it not have negative impact on the job performance, and more hardships to common people, when what we need is a revitilized civil society to guide the nation to path of prosperity.

I am ready to pay tax to Maoists instead of SPAM. Actually many of us are being forced tax to pay to them, so we can't help. But all of us have decided not to pay a penny to SPAM.

Maoists at least are a legitimate force (who have grabbed power by force).

Nepal cannot run in two Govt.I simply don't see SPA can resolve this.Iam being very pessimistic .In this way nepali are going to suffer more.If maoist were in jungles it was much better than letting them come outside.SPA has no guts to fight against M.and Army is not fully going to support SPA.
Nepalese are screwed big time.
There is never going to be peace when there is power hungry dogs in SPAM.They are fighting now to outwit one another.Only solution now is not give up power to Maoist and keep quite whie they take us back 400 years Or Kill each and every maoist.F**k human rights and crap .Just kill if it be 200k .It should not be thought twice.Handover power to Army and King and start killing.:(

There will be a day in the coming years, when the Nepalese will be fighting for Jana-Aandolan III. And at the time, people will be removing the statues and monuments of Comrade Prachanda and Baburam and Makune (I am assuming UML and Mao will merge).

I think people of Nepal will have to go through the history of the world to learn everything. We can't use the experience of the world, because most of us are illeterate bunch. If you look a the history of the world- 1st there were the tzars and the monarchs of the world which ruled, these were overthrown in due course of time. Then came the commies and they were thrown away.

We are in the 2nd phase, where commies seems like are going to rule.

THERE IS NO DOUBT THAT all commies are same.UML and maoists are brothers.Nepal is going to be communist republic because of stupid uneducated fools.The big thanks goes to KING and Nepali congress.
If communits make all the poor people rich then who would they rule.Why do rich people need commies??So conclusion Nepal is going to be poorer and poorer and supports for communist will increase.
Nepali vedas do deserve some commie rule cause telling them doesn't get to their thick brain they need to experience it.

Meanwhile, in Chitwan, the Maoist district secretary, Avinash, on Monday claimed that their party had not launched any campaign of accumulating 50 million rupees in Chitwan. Speaking at a press meet, organized to inform about the party's mass meet scheduled for Thursday, he also claimed that Maoists were not writing any letter to civilians asking for "tax". "We will punish anyone found doing so," he claimed. "We are just requesting for voluntary contributions (donation) for arranging the mass meet."
