I am assigned to compare Jacson Pollock's "Number 1" and Picasso's "Les Demoiselles d'Avignon". I hope there is someone who can help me..I have no idea how to... Please help.

Where do you live? If you are around NYC area, if you have time visit Guggenheim museum, I think I have seen Pollock’s arts there although I think Pollock's art.....oh god .. bull shit.... all you have to do it throw paints on a canvas

Apu, appreciated your attempt. I am far away from NYC (I am in wichita, KS). I just need some links that have detail information about those two painting. I know that's BS, jsut throwing the paint over the canvas....
I need some information about the artist's personal style, historical context, use of media (medium), principle of design etc...
If anybody knows the links or anything out there... please share...
