Hi guys, Anybody knows of where to attest the transcript here in us. School does require to send transcript directly from the college right and its bit difficult to send back form home.Last time i did was from american education center, kathmandu but now when i sent my brother in kathmandu to attest marksheet for me they are asking all kind of all semester marksheet etc. So, is there a way here in US i can do attested as I do have all the relevent documents they want to see and i can sent them to school for admission.Any help will be appreciated.

I think there was a thread on this a while ago…WES is one of them who can evaluate you foreign transcripts and grade you in terms of the US strandardized grading system (or is it standardized??). I know Neps people who have used WES for their undergrad skipping 2 -3 years of study completely and have now finsihed grad shool from the ivies. Use this Link: http://www.wes.org

Notary do they do for the academic certificate too and uni will accept the certificate they notarized? Also wes.org i think they will evaluated your degree no? Our is in percent system and I guess they will change it to gpa system transcript isn't it? My intention was to attested my transcript for my prospective grad school.

Yes, WES does that...However, for grad school, don't you have to take a GRE/GMAT too?? I'm not sure about the criteria for someone who completed the undergrad abroad and was applying to grad school. Hope our helpful sajha members could assist you with definite answers. All the best!!

Getting Notarized copy of transcript is to show that the copy you are submitting is the true and correct copy of the original under your possession. It doesn't mean to verify it's authenticity however. There are many circumstances where notarized copies are accepted particularly if you are asked for the certified copy of the transcript.

Look them up and ask them yourself. I am not notery public. They notarise any official document(and your transcript does fall under that category) but you have to make sure YOURSELF.

Pakandi, If you are still in school (in the US), the best place would be your school. Most of the schools have a department which takes care of attesting all of your transcripts and other documents (academics). Check with your school first. If it doenst work, I would suggest you to go for the other options that other Sajhaites have advised.
