It's a newari food festival baje. As much as you don't like to know, Newars have a lot of delicacies to offer. No offence, but what would be there in a Bahun food festival? Selroti and hmmm til ko achar( that too, only if chettris don't claim it to be their "creation")?

As for the rest of the food festivals, I say bring 'em on! Let's surprise ourselves by going beyond dal, bhat, tarkari, etc in a Nepali "bhoj"..

you must be ignorant to call all newars as jyapu. Just as not all bahuns have tupees or wear janais or eat Katto or are practicing pandits, not all newars are jyapus. Jyapu is a class within newars who work as farmers.
