Hey some genious people help me out here, my girlfriedn andme are thinking to marry and apply my greencard. I heard from some people that after marriage we are suppose to stay together is that true???and I ma F1 visa holder , if i get marry with greencard holder will that create any problem while travelling to Nepal??

Marriage is meant to live two person together for rest of the life as far our culture is concerned. There is not any option. But if you have married for GC only then also you have to be together at least to produce proof to
INS official. But it is better to consult a good lawyer.

Whether it is 'real' or 'unreal' marriage, you must maintain same address. Even  though you two maintain same address and she lives in different location than you do, it can be discovered by USCIS, and you will be subject to be deported. Many of our Neps Gorkhays have been deported due to this problem. Be careful if you really wanna live here in the US.

Iin your case you are going school and has a excellent reason for not living together. Do not ask just do it. Every thing will be fine. But make sure you and your GF has good understanding. I have heard one ( not ) gentleman married Nepali US citizen and kicked her very next day as he got own green card. Not trying you to degrade your love life rather sharing.
