WOW, simply amazing... anyways, talking in positive terms.
Does anyone( software, security and planning professionals) has any ideas about, If the nepalese government had financial support to develop a plan so that people outside the country have a chance to voice their opinion, what are the kind of option we can come up with?
i am very confident that, the kind of smart nepalese people we have around the world, we should easily be able to solve this problem (with the kind of technology we have currently in our contry.)
any ideas are welcome....(use common sense)

If not implemented for this election, could surely be used for the next one(could be anytime soon....haha)
I see one of the biggest issue would be about securing the vote.
Two methods could be either by mail or by internet. Probably which ever one is the most safest could be used.
How much budget do you guys think we might need from the government to initiate this. Starting with brainstorming sessions etc..

I don't think that's possible, until someone comes up with solving the issue with false identity even the most developed countries are finding hard to prevent false identity.

Forget CA election.. leaders of Nepalese Association all living for several years at US, can't make fair election. Read the other thread. With this in picture, I think Maoist far at Nepal are to be blamed less than I thought. Its a real joke.... Nepalese can talk big, but when it comes to their own, see the real example... all nominated by this guy behind the scene, instead of fair election. All against their own by-laws. Shame to these executive committee members of Northern California Nepalese Society.
