I am planning to apply to US on student visa. I have done nursing from Nepal and been working for 1 year now. I am looking to do further study in nursing so can anybody suggest me which subject and what level can I apply for. If you suggeest some colleges also that would be great.

if you don't get a grant that covers the whole study period or at least one year completely, don't even dream of coming here. US is not even close anywhere to 'the land of dreams' as people might think in Nepal...it's a brutal, doggy hard country.

drink Nepali water, grew up in Nepal matoo, received nursing training in Nepal but yet
you are turning your back towards your own mother.

Make sure you apply for Spring semester, this way semester sakiyepachhi immediately for approx. 3 mahina kaam garera paisa jamma garna sakinchha. Tara yo thau ma kaam payidaina so make sure you will have some urban place to go in the US where kaam sajilai pahinchha.

1. You will be granted maximum credits for what you have already studied in Nepal, this way you will graduate soon.

2. Very inexpensive, if you get scholarship, tuition is only $2000 per semester, you may choose to live off campus which is lot cheaper. You can rent a house and live in a group of Nepalese.

3. Before you apply, Contact the vice-president of
Center for International Affairs & Programs (CIAP) and ask him to arrange a 20 hr per week job for you as soon as your semester starts. This way, your Social Security card is secured which is very very important in the US.

Working as a nurse for 1 year in Nepal, you must have collected some money, you can utilize here in the US.; future is here, decide wisely.
