One of our dearest friends ,Gopal khanal at his 20-a resident of Nawalparasi Nepal, has passed away  in dallas,texas leaving behind all those memories that he had shared with us. He was  drowned in a swimming pool of  his own apartment complex .He was in Intensive care unit observation for a week  with a life support. He had  serious injuries on his head which might be the reason of his death. We would like to express our heartfelt condolences and sympathies  to his family members and  to his closest friends. May his soul rest in peace in heaven. May his family members get enough strength to bear this heavy loss.

 Further more, we would like to invite all his friends and Nepali brothers and sisters to attend his funeral which is going to be held on Saturday,11th July. Please make every effort to attend the funeral service and pray for the eternal peace of the departed soul who is on his way to the heavenly abode, as well as express your sympathies and condolences to the members of the family of the deceased.

From what i heard he was in hospital for few days before passing away. Did any of his family member made it to US ?

It' sad to hear when nepalese people die, especially in a foreign country , and its even sader to see people like free H1b comment very irradically....Gopal khanal was a very nice person. i first met him a year ago . he was a very innocent , and helpful person. his presense will be dearly missed .

may god take him to his rightful place-Heaven.

I don't see anything joking in my post........previously there was no pics in this thread.....so i requested for pics....as there are lots of people whom we know by their face not by their name....

secondly, most of the time....when our fellow Nepali die here we collect donation so that we can send his/her body to Nepal or to bring relatives for funeral.......or at least to give some financial relief to the dependent back home.....many time I have donated (not hundreds or thousands but whatever I can)

I am extremely sorry if my request to post pic and link for donation hurt people.

Most of the time as our usual tradition people tries to be smart/loyal by humiliating fellow country man….and I believe it is not true here.

May be he dive and water was not deep and hit the floor? Do you know he was a good swimmer or learner? Sad stories to read  every week.
