I take no pride in our National team beating a Karnataka Institute of Cricket team. This gives fake hope and that's why when we fall down, we crash hard.

footyfan, i know it was not a national side but still, Nepal is David if India is Goliath. And by no means was that KIC team bad. anyway, we must appreciate the effort shown by our lads.

To each their own, man. Personally, I've stopped taking pride over our achievements in these formats of the game. Under-19 heryo, 24 barsa ko players rakhera jitcha which gives us fake hope. I used to play cricket with a guy who was the captain of one of the under (certain) age team (National team) side that won big things. He was 4 years older than the age group he was playing for. Fake hope = greater expectations and when we play against them big boys, we get abused, humiliated and then crash all our hopes.

i knwo this used to be problem before...nepal sending over aged boyz..but howveer ICC has been really strict and recently lots of teams under age group have been reprimanded...Nowdays they do biomedial exam if any country or player is under suspicion.

In this Sarrc u25..most of the players are junior national players.. some even under19 players.. We are missing some senior players in side like Binod Das and Alam. I do agree KIC doesn't not in any way represnt cricketing giant like INDIA. A Rranji side would have been way better than them.

I was just going through some Pakistani cricket forum on SAARC u25 tournament and found out  Pakistan has picked really good team for this tournament. Infact best team n favurites to win. They claim it good enough to be Pakistan A side and consisting of future of pakistan, some really good younster.

I am hoping Nepal will be able to play well with them too. Although this tournnament means nothing to country like sri lanka, pakistan and india, it is actually very beneficial for country like nepal..who hardly gets to play cricket against good side.

Best of luck for match against Pakistan...this one is going to be real test

Well, agreed about tournaments like this giving an exposure to cricketers but its ridiculous to see people going over the top.
