I never said women are prostitutes. Neither did I bring up the concept of something of a barter system. We're humans and we all want things in our lives. Men and women alike want physical satisfaction. Men are stronger physically and women are strong through their charm and their mysterious ways, a virtue men don't possess as well as women do. Each sex is mesmerized by the others' qualities. If men are the source of all physical traumas then women are the source of the fall of great dynasties, political systems and societies. Cleopatra, Marie Antoinette, Kaikei(in Ramayana), both sexes have created evil individuals. If prostitution is such a bad thing then why do these "strong" women fall for it, why not take their lives or follow society's hardshiops rather than sell their bodies? We all have good and bad in us IFC. And no, traditional forms of marriage resemble do not resemble prsotitution. Both sexes want sex. Arranged marriage was just a way for society to show appreciation to a couple who would be living together with society's recognition that they're a an honest and good faring couple. Dowry system, forced marriage are bad derivatives of the traditional form where men and women respected each other's privacy and intimacy. Just because a woman was married to someone else without her seeing him doesnt men she was at fault. The guy too would never have seen the bride or in the best case scenario, they both wouldve spoken a couple times about their wishes and seen if they're compatible, if there was a loss, it was for both parties, not just the woman. Yes, women have been depressed by the physically stronger men and i despise that. But not all men are evil. Women have their own way of manipulating men, and often we overlook that. Instead of pointing fingers as to who degrades society more, lets look at the future and say, lets forget what we've done and move ahead. If, Behind every succesfull manthere is woman, then behind every evil man, there is an evil mother, sister or wife.

time traveler i was not refuting your point. i mentioned waht i said because i thought it would be an interesting analysis. and plus, in some way marraige only resembles prostitution, one can argue. i am not saying traditional marraiages is like prostitution. and seriously speaking ,all my bickering aside i dont believe any gender degrades soceity, like u said. as for moving ahead, men wil alwys come from and women will come from venus. we will always have some level of tension; its inevitable.

Women come from venus? never heard of that. Seriously, ive never heard of that. I like the way you get to your point though, and yes, men and women will always have arguments, differences. But isnt that what brings us together? Nepali ma aauta proverb cha: logne swasni ko jhagada nabhaeko ghar, masaanghaat saraha ho(A house where a couple dont argue is like a cemetery). Similarly, arguments bring out a person's true feeling, if they're genuine, they'll always be a sweet inner fruit that finally reveals itself. I think, debates between men and women should continue. You and me have had some encounters in sajha in the past and continue to waste our time here. I'm hoping we have more heated debates and let there be fireworks! And let there be debates on important issues between all sajhaites, not just me and you or nepe and biswo- all of us. That's why I love sajha so much, this is our garden, where we dance, sing, fight and get back together. I'm a virgin, but I fancy that even sex is sweeter after a man and a woman argue and then patch up. lololololol.

women are from venus, men are from mars is a really popular, funny bok about gender differneces and why its hard for men to undeerstand women and vice versa. there is another famous book called, why men dont' listen and women can't read maps. same thing. fireworks are only possible when there is there is a chemistry.....if fireworks were that easy, why would marraiges fade away? as for your fancy, you ought to keep fancying for another decade or so...parishram ko phal mitho huncha niii.

nah, not 10 years. just 4 more. If I'm a bad boy, one more day. But I'm not, so I guess 4 more. If I'm Sanji from Nepe's debut book, havent read it but im sure that's the guy she's in love with, I guess NEVER!lololololol Yea, fireworks is possible is only possible if there is chemistry, but that's taken for granted, if you argue all the time but are still together, thats chemistry there and that's what i was referring to. Oh, and thanks for reminding me about the book, I've seen them in local bookstores, just couldnt remember. Damn, ive posted quite a bit today. sheesh, sajha is addictive!

chemistry is never taken for granted. where do you think all relationship problems come from??? lack of chemistry!! if two people are still together, you assume there is chemsitry???? that could not further from teh truth....my grandparetns have been togheter for 50 years, and i see no chemistry between...not even one tiny spark..maybe the spark existed when tehy eight kids one after another...but hey that was past! rsearch has proven that the first intense mometns between a man and woman gradually tneds to fade away as they get into the relationship. but hopefully what remains is love, trust and loyalty.

i said its taken for granted if the people involved in a relationship are still together after all their fights and petty arguments and what not. we dont see it it but its there. chemistry does not have to be sweet little flirtatious activities or sweet talking or holding hands and so forth. you can have a slow chemical reaction too, something that's passive. And no relationship problems dot arise because of lack of chemistry. They arise when the fundamentals of relationship do not remain:- trust and respect. You can have a couple who are totally devoted to each other but they dont necessarily show the kind of "chemistry" you talk about. I would disagree with that ifc. But I agree with something though- what remians is love, trust and loyalty. That's all that matters, at least to me.

ok most relationships problems actually dont' arise out of lack of chemistry, but out of lack of trust and all those fancy sounding words. true ture. most guys are not fake. i will go back to my biological explanation here, they are just naturally inclined to not let go any chance to produce an offspring. that's all. by 'fake', i meant in a virtual world of internet k. u r not communicating with me ni ta. u r communicating with a machine, all we are getting in response from one another are tehse black and white pixels. that's what i meant by 'fake'. its just not reality that i am used to.

Inside Man... eh!! Spikey gone commercial? :P Good Movie indeed. What else? hmmm... the movie opens with divine, untouched and an original version of "Chaiya Chaiya" song. It's the same version AR Rahman used for the movie "Dil Se", no remix no gimmicks, just minor touch ups. ha!! That's Spike Lee. He respects the things as they are, whether it's an old Hindi song or the racial diversity of NYC. He just picks them up in their original form, and serves it. They also play "Chaiya Chaiya", remix version, during the end credit but except for the rap parts and few effects, they still retain the original version. :D

This must be a dumb question, but why did they play that hindi song? just for kicks? After reading so many reviews before watching it, I don't think it came up to my expectations. Denzel's performance was overrated.
