Etihad Airways has long stopover (~15 hours) in Abu dhabi.

Do they provide FREE hotel during stop over ? Any one has recent experience ?

If they do, how do you book it ?

Nepali travel agents advertised in Sajha are worst in this regard. They find a little cheaper flights, but with over 15 hours transit time. 

Regarding the original question, if there's another flight earlier than the one you are going, then you won't get any hotel accomodation. And most probably, there are flights to the same destination earlier than your flight time. so you're stucked on your own for the long excruciating 15 hours in the airport. 

I had similar experience while using one of the travels agents seen here in sajha. I thought I would go out of the airport to take tour, but since I was carrying money with me, so I changed my mind.

No, they won't, but you will get food coupon of worth ~$12. Sorry to say bro, I had bad experience a couple of month ago.
Hope this time, they will provide.

Coommon guys, if you are flying you can book a hotel for urself, I heard that airlines has to give if layover is more than 12 hrs, not sure though.

Why do you guys fuss about everything? You know why Nepali travel agents find you the ticket with 15 hrs of transit time ? Coz the first sentence you say to the agent is "dai/didi sasto ma milaidina paryo"  You need a fcking cheap ticket and at the same time the best flight possible. You know how absurd that sounds? Retard morons!
You see I cant afford expensive flights so I make sure I get the cheapest even even I have 15 hrs of transit. 

My suggestion: If you find a cheap ticket (~200/300 than online sites) go for it buddy and then book a hotel for ~$100 and you still save $200 and get some rest.

take malaysian , you will enjoy 5 star hotel with breakfast.

NO they don't

I bought tickets for 1700 and month later they are selling same ticket for 1400 saying big sale event, and even airline don't want to give me their transit package , not even to buy it . They said there is a flight with 10 hrs transit and mine is having 11 hrs, their take is I should have bought the one with 10 in higher price. I fell stupid right now.

I was able to get a FREE hotel in 2010. I went to Etihad counter in Abu Dhabi and told them i am tired   after flying 14 hours from Chicago and would appreciate if Etihad can provide room for 15-16 hours transit.

One Indian looking lady asked me to wait few minutes and she gave me a voucher for a Room. She was so nice that she asked me if i had dinner, then she also gave me voucher for DINNER as well as Breakfast in the morning.

When i checked out , i had to sign the bill which was paid by Etihad and it was little over 400 dirham. 

It was a nice experience.

Not sure if they offer Free room now.
