Hello guys, can you recommend me a good web hosting site that has web site builder too. What you guys are using and why you like them, price wise or ease of use or something else. I was using ipage.com for hosting and its built in feature called weebly drag and drop because i got promotional plan of 6.99/month for 2 years and it was easy to use. Now the renewal price has doubled , so trying to find other alternatives, thanks in advance

I have been running my site using hostgator. It also has those template things that you can use.

Finally ... Furke : Its service oriented business, more of static page, some pictures for slide shows, google maps, yelp reviews etc, for ecommerce I have used Magento which is open source and can compete with any other paid solutions HS : Never used hostgator, i will do some more research thanks Jaxnepali : yes i have used godaddy for my other two sites, looking between ipage and go daddy right now, will try to bargain with both this week Have any of you guys hosted your site from your own server, I am thinking of that too. I know it is a hassle and might be security risk. Hosting from godaddy or other is far more cheaper alternative then hosting from your own house in lot of sense, but for learning purpose I want to try that too for my simple testing site. I have theoretical knowledge of doing this but never have done it practically, so help is appreciated. I have 50/5 mbps high speed internet, do I have to talk to ISP to open port or I can just use router's configuration and set static isp? How the name resolution works for ip address in this case ?
