Jolly Rogers Water Park. Unbelievable! Right next to it, there is a McDonald's where a certain fine nepali girl used to give me extra large frieds and free drinks. Couldn't get more than that though.

Yeah a bunch of nepalese people worked in Jollyrogers and Mcdonalds beside it.....can't thank them enough for providing free drinks and rides. But surprisingly...yet strangely...the new attendant at Nepali restaurant was so hostile....giving a discount was out of question...he did not even speak politey.

Those "broke Nepalis" who drank only Heinekin and smoked only Marlboro Light in a box everyday maxing out their 5 credit cards with $500 credit limit on each. Those Nepalis who dyed their hair blond yet still looked like Mexicans. Those Nepalis who worked round the clock, fell asleep in restroom while at work, and got fired from jobs. Fake IDs to enter Pickles Bar. International Student Center for internet.

well...as far as I recall there were two nepalese who dyed their hair blonde......but one person was of particular interest...not because of his hair but because of his name.....no offenses to him.....but his name was "distance lama" has anyone heard such a name before? It sounded so weird.

Pinky: As far as I know, Distance works and studies hard.He respects other people. And what else do you expect more? As far as dying hair is concerned, that is his hair....so his mofing business...not yours. About being weired, everyone is weired in his/her own way.At least his name is real...unlike yours...Pinkey.

I know distance is a good person.....that is why I did not mean to offend him. I was simply talking about his name... But honestly...he could have changed his name....if my parents named me velocity...or acceleration.....I would kill myself....rather kill them...

hey guys thanks for the memory of my first summer. Summer Place ---------------- This here, Hanna, is my apartment. Told you- it will be a mess. We are sixteen guys here. Beside this living room, We have two bedrooms inside: Three mattressess side by side, sleeps five! And how do you like this bar of a kitchen we have? Complete with barstools and all... Let me move this blanket, Here, have a seat. It was my turn to sleep on the couch last night. Haven't had time to do the dishes, he...he...sorry if that smells. Seventeen hour workdays are the norm, Get high when not working, no time to spare. Our rules, they vanished the second week here. That's why the beer cans and bottles, the pennies and nickels all over. We don't mind using dinner plates as ashtrays anymore. And look at that- the prize of it all- that Wal-MArt bag full of dirty, smelly "Lost and Found" socks. Our hope is that the burglar who stole Yogesh's bike will take that bag next time. Shiny mahagony walls! Not cheap this place, But split it sixteen ways and it's manageable. Convinient location though, you see, The bus stop is right there. And that is Club Kahuna Sure the techno rivets till 2 AM, And if this couch is your bed, You can hear the drunken laughtet of women making their way home. Hanna, you know what I like about it the most? When from out the porch, I can see, The rising sun on the Atlantic. Crimson and Red! Pity it's only till summer's end. ------- mG. (Fall 2001)

i seldom praise, or atleast mean it sincerely, as i do now. mind-games, that poem was like a chapter out of the pages of my life. albeit more succinctly put. a calming balm after some of the puerile, bigoted posts floating around. nice bro.

Mindgames....inspired by you, I could not stop myself rhyming....here are some excerpts.. Driftwood apartments... boarding hundreds of Nepalese Some russians, some ethiopians but no chinese Sometimes,at night, when you come out of the door Down lies some drunken homey on the floor Friends squabble, over grocery bills And do not stop until melancholy fills Cussing, swearing at one another Forget that they said all nepalese are brothers Some people sweep floors, some do dishes And some watch the sunset and white marlin fishes Corona, Budwieser...they savor it all And wail that they did not save enough for fall Seventeen hours of back breaking work Still the pay is so little forget about the perk Even then they shop at Tommy and GAP And buy colognes from Ralph lauren called "chaps" Superfresh soars high..so does Sunsations They do wonderful business if in amalgamation Burgerking and Mcdonalds never stop serving And add one more restaurant with those earnings I had enough...I heard someone yell And I also heard the blows in the wall he pumelled Swearing to god that he would never come back He was there again next year with the same old back pack.
