At the risk of being called Dhoti Lover or whatever, I have to admit, once in a while, I do get this strange nostalgic urge to see a hindi film or two. Does this happen to anybody? Anyway, I do have a problem though, I do not know of any new good hindi movies. So, can anyone make a suggestion?

Please, only good ones. God knows, there are so so so many crappy ones. Very hard to get a good one.

Hum dil de chuke sanam ( more reality than hawa hindi movie)

DC girl, LOL, impressed?? re kyaa. haha... Janme dekhun film hereko... but I don't really watch much these days. eh. Lajja pani herya chaina, but I like the movies made by that director, Raj K. Santoshi. His movies have kind of strong screenplay. In the past, he made movies like Ghayal, Ghatak, Damini, Andaz apna apna, Pukar, Legend of Bhagat Singh, Khakee and of course Lajja to name the few. They were kind of strong compared to the movies made by other directors.. eheh.

Money Minded, aaah, I forgot Satranj Ke Khiladi, LOL... that movie was awesome. The only hindi movie made by Satya Jit Ray... funny account of the last days of Mughal and their super sophisticated lifestyle. I heard one Mughal King from Lakhnow or somewhere was caught by the British because he didn't even know how to put his shoes on after all of his servants ran away and he was not used to walk barefoot. hehe, Funny Mughals... :P Dev and 3 deewaren herya chaina, but I have those movies at my home... fursat ma hernu parla... this winter break ma... The guy who made '3 deewaren' also made 'Hydrabad blues'... that movie is also worth a watch... It's about America returned dude tryin' to cope with Indian system... hehe.. funny movie. So is Bombay Boys.

Paade Queen, Me tooo!! Lol. I remember back in the SLC days, I had a test next day or something, and I was studyin'... I took a break and came downstairs to flip the channel on the TV (2 channels) and one of the channels was showin' Mr and Mrs 55. I ended up watching a whole movie... It was brilliantly made movie. Not to mention, Pyasa and Kagal ke Phool made by GuruDutt are considered classics hindi movies .... you can feel and see GuruDutts vison in those movies. eh...

Recent movies are just a time pass. eh... last movie watched "mujhse shaadi karogi".. eh. Time pass, was okay. eh!!

It was true about those nabab of lukhnow......he couldnot escape coz he did not know how to put on shoes......there is another fact as well...one of the nabab was so pissed with english......that he bought 3 royal royace and use it as garbage van..he used that to transport garbage. The chairman of royal royace has to go to india and pled him coz he was loosing his car reputation.
The worst part about guru dutt and gita dutt was ....there life went digaster after their divorce......finally, guru dutt kill himself after his last movie.....in movie as well he dies...i forget the movie but it was really sad.He was one of the best actor and director ever existed.
there is some movies which dont leave my mind is ............Rangeela..not coz of dance and urmila...but come back of great legend my fav actor amir khan. He shares same ideology like me........he gives..f$$k about media and lives his life...he is not like shahrukh khan who loves himself so much. He is so real and dedicated actor..his realitiness in movie...like in rangeela where he wears cheap net shit and his dress code matches the blacker of india...like in sangarsh...he shows even cop are humans and they can be bitten up....like in jo jita woh sikandar....where he plays typical school guy....and he happens to be real bicycle racer guy....i cant wait to see his The uprisining " mangal panday".

Moneyminded sounds funny but I know thats true,

Well talking about guru dutt I heard that the film pyaasa was based on his own life, His love with waheeda rehman who was half his age and his divorce what ever but the bad thing about the film was it was a disaster at the box office cause people at that age didnt liked the story and he was kinda frustrated, ( may be thats why he killed himseld )
actually what I think is may be he wanted to know what people think about second marrige with half his age who is like her daughter, and the responce was .....people didnt agreed . may be thats why he felt uncomfortable and..

At that time what raj kapoor told to guru dutt was I know people didnt accepted this film but 20,30 years from now people will realli appreciate this film and see now when you watch the movie its realli so well made and everything from dailog to songs its great..
But at that time may be it was hard for guru dutt to accept peoples decession so .....

and u even forgot to mention "DHOOM"

gr8 movie........Dhoom, itz all 'bout: One Smart Thief(john), One Brave Cop(A.Bachan), One Cool Rider (dont know his name) together they create DHOOM....w/ mind blowing songs, and itz video. and the muzic is just terrificcc....

Yes! Kal Ho na... is indeed one of the best movie...But i don't know why i was thinking that i watched it last year. Well if it was released this year then it should be on the top of my list.. :o)

Well i don't about DHOOM?? I don't like that guy...i don't know his name but he is also in Mohabatein. I'll probably watch it if i don't have anything else to watch.

Movie that i am really looking forward to watch is Veer-zara and Hulchul. I hope hulchul will be as funny as Hera-pheri... one of my all time favorites!!

VEER JAARA(my opinion), songs are good though, but the ending is kinda dumb. ....and itz not that exciting good....comparing to Main Hu Na and Kal Ho Na Ho

Juudai is nice....but there are lotz of new movies which are worth watching and funny.
