Firstly, I support the protest again autocratic Gyane and his puppet government. But kantipur media's new about the protest program is very unethical and questionable. This unethical broadcast has given bad name to the protest program itself. Kantipur should realize that and stop the false bogus news. Some of the false news spread by kantipur

1) On ocasions they have show clip and pictures of 2046 as current event to misguide people.
2) On ocasions they have used clips of previous day as news even of current day.
3) Most of their mass meeting pictures are Photoshoped. ( Please see the attached picture of today, if you look care fully you can see copy of paste of same person at many places)

Thank you for your concern. I am still with Loktantrik andolan and support it 100% both from my heart and head.

But, I do not want Kantipur to use this Loktantrik andolan as their revenge against Gyane for sending Kishor Shiroya to jail. Our nepalese brother and sister and flowing their blood for democratic Nepal not for Kantipur's revenge.

Here is the reason why we should stop kantipur's unethical reporting before it is too late,

1) Since they are showing fake things, people are not believing at what is happening really?
Why do you think most of KTM / Patan and Bhaktapur is still sleeping because they say this is "media andolan" and the reason is false news by media.

How do we get right to criticize Rising Nepal for saying " lawyer snatch the gun and shot was fired by accident" , if kantipur starts showign 2046 clips and claim it to be current event.

I am just asking journalist esp. in Kantipur to be clean and not to mess up our big movement just for their own revenge.

Anyway I give up may be I was wrong, but I am being cautious with kantipur given their past track. I can believe the news in Himal, Jana Astha, Samachar Patra by just reading their article. But for kantipur I never do until I verify from some other source.

The loss of faith with Kantipur was whole CIAA episode they played. It was Kantipur who started the strom of CIAA by diging in Chiranjivi Wagle's ilegal wealth and forcing CIAA to take action eventhough Wagle was minister at that time.

But when Kishor Shirowa got in trouble for Kantipur TV deal they took complete U turn and started criticizing everything about CIAA. For me that is not professional journalism.

But I guess in the world of commercial journalism these kind of things happen.

Prajatantra, just by putting the name as prajatantra and reiterating the belief in democracy doesn't make u the democrat. You got to practice what u preach. It seems that you're still unconvinced that pictures were not photo edit work.

There's nothing wrong in printing pictures of 046 movement, and I dare you to give the single incidence where they've shown these pictures as current movement. The current movement, in the news, actually turned out to be in larger scale than 046. Any evidence if you're able to provide may just be an unintentional error.

In my opinion, the newspapers like kantipur are fighting for their existence. They won't be able to survive in non-democratic environment, as Kantipur came into light only after democracy and will go into dark with the extinction of democracy in Nepal.

I'm not writing for kantipur as I don't have anything to do with them, but at least they've become the easiest n' best source of news. Regarding biases, I've heard alot about it in many forms in kantipur. However, we've to admit noone is perfect. I'm responding to this thread just because it seemed another propaganda to me.
