Yesterday I was confused about the name of my own country but its official now its Federal Democratic Republic of Nepal. The newest republican country will be playing against one of the oldest republican today.

Both of the teams are unbeaten yet. Nepal have produced very impressive results and USA have won comfortably too. Nepals worry may be its batting at top order but with half centruy from Mahesh Chettri, one of the opener on the last match may have boosted the confidence. USA on the other hand will be relying heavily on its imported tested players.

The weather have been good today at the Channel Islands today but there are predictions of some shower later. Nepal have won the toss and decided to bat on the wet pitch.

Lets hope Team Nepal will begin the countrys' new begining with an impressive win.

.Well, 182 Runs is pretty defendable with such fine bowlers like Binod Das, Mehboob Alam, Sanjam Regmi. Nepal have defended this many runs in so many occasions and I am pretty sure they will defend it today. All credit goes to Gyanendra Malla for his fine knock.

Need some early wickets now! I think the USA are not gonna hit Mehboob Alam at all. They will just defend him and will try to hit some other bowlers, which is a good thing for other bowlers as well. They will get some wickets.

Hey guys,
nice to see that you all are avidly following Nepal's game.  I hope we win the game, but it is not going to be an easy piece of cake for us- not by easy stretch of imagination at least.

When USA comes to bat, we will have to get Roopnarine ( Juicy) and Messiah out as early as possible. I have played with both of them and I know their weaknesses. I just hoped that I was around in Jersey right now. Believe me!

All these USA players ( 8 of them playing today), I have played against. Hence I can safely tell that as long as our pacers keep the balls on the wicket moving here and there, they would be able to give a tough fight to USA's batting.

Let us see how ti shapes up.

I have not seen Nepal's budding cricketers in action. But I hear that we have some good fast bowlers in Alam and Das.

Nepal team is called "Rhinos"?  Should've been called Yaks instead since Rhinos are native to a whole lotta countries out there in Asia and Africa whereas Yaks, the 'ship of the Himalayas' are indigenous to Nepal and Tibet only!  Could've atleast called them "One-Horned Rhinos" which is indegenous to the Indian Sub-continent!
