Living in the San Francisco aka "gay-capital", seeing gay/lesbians  is nothing abnormal. I am not concerned about their orientation, or their lifestyle.

However, wat i witness in local metro (train) yesterday afternoon was something most people (of straight orientation) would not prefer. 2 young guys in mid to late 20's were on the train and tongue-kissing in the train, that too more than 5 times ( i didnt count how many tho ). i was unlucky enough to face them so i cud not avoid  much ). i dont have words to explain how disgusting, how pathetic experience it was.

Everyone has right to live to live the way they want, but doing such activities on a public transportation system is wat i did not enjoy at all .

But I am a little bit skeptic towards those extreme gay right advocates who use or support public display of affection (PDA) as a defiance. You live in a society which has some least set standard of decency and morality most of which are tacit. A society comprises people of all age, gender and intellect. Everyone should be respected with sensibility and responsibility. Some people perceive things differently than others. And those who live by their favorite motto, "live and let live", by true means, would/should not want someone's less responsible act challenge the tacit norms of a society.
