When Shah kings ruled Nepal they brainwashed the illiterate Nepalis with
an inflated self praising history. They call it unification whereas the
truth is PN Shah used his cunning and deceit to take over others land
and occupy forcibly with mass murder and inflicting torture to many for
his own selfish reason. History makes him sound like the
benevolent king who did everything to unify a kingdom which is a load
of crap. The terrorist PN Shah invaded the peaceful valley kingdom and
took it over. He and his descendants then created and maintained
a separation among the citizens by dividing them according to the work
they did such as sarki, dhami, jyapu. Those at the top of the pyramid
enjoyed their superior position looking down upon the rest and they
wanted to maintain this feudal system that promotes abuse of their
position consequently not providing opportunity to the people at that
bottom of the pyramid.

That is the main reason, people like
Prachanda and Baburam Bhattarai were able to gain such momentum against
the Shah rulers and to oust them from their pedestal.

But
these people at the top of the pyramid specially Chettri and Bahun have
not given up looking down upon the people who have been suppressed for
generations. They have an air of fake superiority that they want to
believe in. Not all of them but a lot of them have that feeling within
them. They should take a hint from the way the Shah dynasty collapsed
that their pride is baseless.

I don't support the claim for different states. Those who are doing
that in Nepal are influenced by politicians who want to keep Nepalis
fighting among each other.

We have to accept the past and move
on. That is the main thing. That is why I despise some bahuns and
chettris who try to believe and act as if they are superior. Some
chettris still think they are warriors so they beat up madhise's and
any other people they can bully. They don't have sense to realize that
warriors are produced by circumstances. Even a tame dog will start
barking and attacking you if you taunt it too much.

I am not a racist. I believe everyone is equal but I have no problem pointing out racist people and what they do. It's time to give up the pride associated with your past association with your jaat and accept everyone for who they are. Politicians are using this to divide the country. If this continues we won't even have a country to be proud of.

Although i agree to the point that you are trying to make i disagree to the some of the things you mentioned.you are blatantly pointing your finger at BAHUN CHETTRIS, please show some evidence that they were the only ones who beat up and bullied the Madhesis.I have witnessed how some Jyapus and Newar people in Kirtipur, Kathmandu and Patan treated tarkari bechney madisey so you do not have the right to point your finger at one group.

I still recall back in the day when cricket was not so popular in Nepal, some marwadi kids were ridiculed by Jyapu/Newars for playing the game. everytime they went out with their cricket bat someone from the bahal would shout "Marsya woh lah Marsya woh lah"

I never implied that Newars have not beaten up people from madhesh origin. I am sure some Newar/Bahun/chettris have been beaten up in madhesh too. But that is not the point. The main point I want to make is that some Chettris still to this day think they are the warrior class and that they are born warriors which makes me puke at their ignorance.
Some of them want to show off their warrior skills by beating up or bullying the weak and the poor.

Like I said, even a tame dog will bark and bite you if you taunt it too much. Warriors are made by circumstance and perhaps training, and nothing else.

well, i think thats only because of our history.chettri,magars and gurungs were the core of gorkhali army. and everyone knows the reputation  of gorkhalis.

and by the way newars are the most privilaged non-durbariyas(shahs n ranas).and they are ALSO  full of communial bias against non-newars(marsya and khwasa names were given by newars).so pointing at B-C is not the solution.

timi pahila newar bhitrakai discrimination(shakyas,shresthas,kasai ,jyapu and so on) hatau .thats more serious.i ve seen bahuns marrying rai or kami marrying chhetris but i ve also seen a kasai  guy being beaten to death by the girls side(guvaju).

sabai jaat ma jatiya pride hunchha.but being proud on ur cast/creed doesnt mean u must humiliate the other. (eg-a patriot paki mustnt be an anti-indian and the other way round)

If our founder PN had not united Nepal then India or some other small country that existed back in those days would, and you would still be complaining today. If PN was really greedy then he could just take the wealth, jewellery and treat the Newars and others as slaves , but he didn't. he made kathmandu the capital. he let newars practice their culture and practice business, they were never interfaired.yes, you are right after PN some Shah kings and their chhetry holdovers were selfish and greedy but we should not linger in the past.  everyone has equal rights in Nepal now so brining these kind of hatred messages on sajha only divides us.

 Tell me who could have spoken such words more than 200 years ago. He was way ahead of time. In this day and age we talk about how bad racisim is.  But PN then knew for Nepal to be prosperous all the jaat jatis must be together.

back in the time when PN united nepal, its was certianly not an easy task for him but he had a vision that the time has come that we should be united and not fall in the hands of British. that was in part good. the war was with british from which we gurkhas were entitled the "BAHADUR" do you know with whom came this name? i guess we have to go back to class 8 where we studied samajiksikchya. There are all the stories of bal bhadra kuwar (i dont mean just thakuri here and i dont remember all of them) and others and in that book there’s a pic of a huge rock where the story of  brave gurkhas who fought in this battle and never gave up carved.
this is our story and gurkhas are not just the people who are from gorkha but i guess all the people from nepal.
well this is the story about us and i dont know how much in terms of percent newar rais baun and chetteri fought the war then. but i guess all of us participated and not just physically.
so whats the point on saying that this is a newar rajya or a kiriti rajya. Do you think that they had this vision that if they fight with PN against bideshi tattwa they would one day get their own colonial rajya? why are we doing this? why we have fallen in the hands of some a$$h00le politicians and fighting among ourselves? those politicians are bunch of some illetrate jerk$ and we have been following them (i dont mean that there werent any good). there are always bad cults in a society but that doesnot mean that the society is bad. It’s our unfortunate that those small percentage of rotten have taken over our sociey in the name of politics.
guys we all have bad in us, i guess some limbus doesnot like me may be because I don’t like them, but i have very good rai fren and i have lived with newars for several years. this is us. we have lived in such society for hundreds of years and we might have seen small fights between bauns and newars or chettries but we were also good frens then. i have lived in several part of the world and i have never seen such a harmony among the different ethinicity as i have seen in nepal, and i always had bragged about that.
 a decade back nepal was such a peaceful place to live, i rarely heard of buglery. but now what have we become. first came maoist then colonist and what next has to come. sometime i feel good that i come to US. atleast people here discriminate me because i am not one of them, i was not here when US was built. i dont belong here. But when Nepal was made we were all there.

Jyapu Babu, timmile yo thread suru gareok suhayena. Yo thread suru garda chahi display name change garera suru gareko bhaye hunthyo. Hamilai (at least malai) yesto thread ko originator Nepali bhako bhaye badhi khusi hunthyo bahun, chhetri, jyapu, madhise hoina.

And I think u just wanted to look good by starting the thread but the hatred inside u, against Chhetri especially, is not hidden.

Try being a Nepali first and give up your EGO, then try realize what u have contributed to the country and people.

Looking at your posts on other threads too u, my brother, r not a right person to give others lecture on being united against racism. But I appreciate the fact that consciously or sub consciously, u r trying to spread a good message as per the threads title.
