 How long does it take for I485 approval after Biometrics?

For those who have gone through this, can you throw some light on:

How long did it take for you to get I485 approval after doing biometrics? and after that how long does it take to get the actual card? Thanks!!

Short answer is forever.


Long answer is it depends upon your case. Obviously you haven’t done much research on the subject before posting your quesiton, otherwise you would have mentioned what type of process you are going through (EB1, EB2, EB3 etc) and what is your Priority date, LC date.  So, with that limited amount of information I will just tell you to expect anywhere from 1-4 years before you will see that green thing.

Priority date Oct 2009 and category is EB2.

Anywhere form 1 month to 6 months. If you are unlucky, it could be longer.
