Hello Sajha users, I know this question has been fully or partially answered in sajha. But I am asking you again not because of being lazy but because I am wondering if there is any update on this list.
Can somebody add up to my list? Or anybody just recently got H4 visa and submitted documents list will be very helpful.
Thanks in advance.
Visa Type - H4 (Dependent of H1) for spouse.
Supporting documents. FROM USA 1. Copy of H1 approved document. 2. Couple paycheck after H1 is started. 3. Sponsorship letter. (from H1 holding person) 4. Job offer letter from company (for H1) I got job offer letter this March 2010. FROM NEPAL 5. Application letter (From H4 applicant) 6. Bank balance?? 7. Relationship certificate 8. Marriage Certificate. 9. CA report
Can you add your insights on this documents list or any suggestion regarding H4 visa for spouse? Thanks again.

Just for curiosity Depti will you be available during the course of your spouse interview ? If yes, provide your passport too. b). Has your h1 already been stamped ? c). Tell your spouse to take the invitation card of your marriage with him/her too. d). Tell your spouse to take your wedding pictures too. Some of the above listed items i believe is not at all necessary though its not bad to have it.

Thank you all for reply. Let me answer stylish point one by one and hope it will answers others too. 1. I haven't stamped my H1B. It just got approved and I have approval document for USCIS 2. I won't be there for stamping. I will be here and my spouse will go for interview at KTM (US embassy) Now My question is I am doing job since last 2 years but I got new job offer letter with increase salary in this march (for H1-B process), Do I have to send that new job offer letter too? What are other consequences we have to consider for H4 VISA? Thank you all for quick response.

Depti, In that case if you have all the necessary docs no hassle. Make him/her prepare probable questions that might be asked during interview as you have not stamped your h1 visa. Just curiosity on which status is your dependent here in the states ? Best of luck

Stylish, I m here in US working and my spouse is in Nepal trying to come US under my dependent that is H4. Somebody was suggesting to send all the documents that attorney prepared while filing H-1B. I am so confused. If anybody recently invited their dependents in H4 visa, Please share your insight with me. It would be really helpful. Thanks

When you said your spouse will go, i though he/she is here in the states. But anyways I had friends whose h1 were already stamped and went Nepal, got married and brought wife with them in H4 with no hassle. Sorry, I don't know anybody which is/was in ur situation.

No need to send the original H1 and other docs that your attorney prepared for you, just send the copy of your H1. Make sure to include wedding pictures (entire album). This is important, because there has been a lot of cases where people do fake paper marriage to enter USA.

Thanks to everyone. Is it necessary to have my TAX filing of 2009 while my spouse goes for interview? It's like downloded from turbotax and more than 30 pages I guess. Will not H-1B approved paper be enough to give all answer as it is certified from labor dept and from USCIS. Please give me your valueable suggestion. thanks
