In 2057 B.S. same temple caught fire and the following year (2058 B.S.) the country lost its beloved royal family.. I think i heard earlier that prior to 1990 B.S. great earthquake in Nepal, this temple collapsed.. & if so, now what is this bad omen meant to be for? God Bless our country and people there.. Amen!

आज बिहानको चट्याङले स्वयम्भूको प्रतापपुर मन्दिरमा क्षति

काठमाडौँ, फागुन ३ (नागरिक)- आज एकाबिहानै परेको चट्याङले स्वयम्भू परिसरमा रहेको प्रतापपुरमा क्षति पुगेको छ। चट्याङले करिब साढे ३ सय वर्षअघि बनेको प्रतापपुर मन्दिरको गजुरमुनि र मध्यभागमा प्वाल परेको छ। एकाबिहानैको चट्याङले मानवीय क्षति भनेको भएको छैन।

शिखर शैलीमा राजा प्रताप मल्लको पालामा स्वयम्भू चैत्यअगाडि बनेका दुई मन्दिरलाई प्रतापपुर र अनन्तपुर भनिन्छ। यसअघि २०५७ सालमा आगलागीका कारण प्रतापपुर मन्दिरमा क्षति पुगेको थियो। आगलागीको डेढ महिना जतिपछि सो मन्दिर भत्किएको थियो।

त्यतिबेला तत्कालीन राजगुरुको अध्यक्षतामा दस पुरोहितको समूहले क्षमा पूजासहित अन्य विधिविधान पूरा गरी मन्दिर पुनःनिर्माण गरेको थियो।

 its not bad omen.. its lack of maintenance and proper care.

 Did they not put grounding rod for lightning to pass through on that gajoor?  

kaile nai k k nai ramro omen bha jasto Nepal ma, jasle bad omen lagayo tyaslai nai ultai bad omen lagla jasto cha aba ta...

It might be bad sign, people are being fraustrated from political leaders and jestha 18 or 19 is also comming ! They might try to prolong constitutional assembly peroid and somthing must and may happen !!

Do we even need any of bad omen? What has been happening in country specially from last five years-is not that good enough?
