I am currenlty in OPT. I am working currently as contractor at one of companies in US. My opt will expire within next 10 days.I applied for new extension and it's in pending status. I don't think i will get new opt extension before the expiration of old opt card. In this situation, Can i continue to work while it is in pending status or do i have to quit the job? Please advise me for the solution of this situation.

You can work for up to 180 days after your current OPT expiration if ur STEM extension is pending, provided USCIS received ur extension application before ur current OPT expiry date.
Don't forget to inform ur intenation student office to get new I-20.
