If you are out of status, can you still travel to Nepal on TPS. I have an approved AP. How risky is it? Also planning go come through Dubai with pre-clearance - has anyone come through the same port. Can you share your experience with the immigration authority there? Thank you.

Status has nothing to do with TPS. TPS was built for people without status ...

I traveled back from abhu dhabi recently , which has pre clearance. I was on fam-based emergency parole while travelling back. They took me to secondary inspection room. But no question was asked. I just had to fill custom clearance form . It seems like the officer in secondary room has to close the advance parole cases while entering back. At least for emergency advance parole I can say that . Basically I did not have any other valid visa to enter at that time as my H1 was not stamped.

You probably know this already but if you were out of status, it is advised that you consult with a lawyer before you go!

sugirisajha1 : you are wrong....WIth an AP on TPS you should be fine travelling. The very purpose of the TPS was to give relief to the people without status.
