Does anybody know of good cheap hotels in Hongkong. I would really appreciate any tips to where to look and what price range to expect.

Yah you need to estimate the budjet first then only can suggest you which and where you can go for hotel.
Well Chunkin Mansion and Mirador Manson are the areas same as J.Height in NY. You can get room from HK$100 and above in those building. There are some nice hotels in Kowloon. You can check it in web.

By the way don't forget to wear mask before entering Hk ha! :)
