well,
with the development of foruming many forum software has come above like php bb ,smf...many but i am totally surprised,to see why this website is using such a (if i can use) poor foruming application.

hard finding ...
to be frank i really find it starnge.
now when many good application are found for free ,why to stick with this poor one.
only advantage people say may be it speed ,but i think it is coservatism .
i have found even php bb forum which are very good open as fast as it does..
so i think its time to think to change interface.

why arent thier section ,well i want to post but the forum is full of politican things which i dont want to talk about...
so if website makes the separete section for each thing then things will be much organize and peoplw would post where they like

Well i have been using phorum for a long time... if u see Nepal123.com... the forum is KINDA like this... but i think san brother modified it a lil... for sajha..

Geezzz u here too?....hare yes yes i know do manualy duhhh....the funny thing is i myself didnt liked the outlook of Sajha before but now since everyone are using the same thing it kinda sucks so this one looks like kinda unique even with nothing in it and me likes it. But ofcourse few extra stuffs would be cooler even if not who cares. I kinda like antique with a modern touch. ;)

Sajha forum has changed a lot since before but I am kind of used to this. I find other forums like your example a little overwhelming. I like simplicity.

but the real thing is i could see real nice poster here than any other forum of nepal ,people who really want to post (dont like to just chat)
so seeing that potential if the forum will be improved it will be undoubtly the best

and i dont think there is much resistence in change as it will ease procedures adding facalitiies

so there is no thing like step by step change by the administrator
as it is not under their will
if forum software itself change they will change it
other wise they dont have other option than change whole foeum software
and i think it is time to change this interface to phpbb forum

no any censor and people are just posting what ever they like either that is legal or illegal

To me, I think, Sajha has simple and easy forum... It's easy to read, easy to work on... eh.. Only the homepage looks kinda shabby. :D

The reason that this forum is different from other forums that you see all over the internet is that this forum has been developed specifically for sajha. Old timers have seen the time when there wasn't even the option to register a username. As the site grew I needed to add more features and the forum as you see it right now is the gradual development according to necessity.

Unlike most other sites which use downloaded forums which require least bit of work, I chose to program this forum myself - approx. 97% of this site is my own programming. The programming continues in the backend as new issues arise.

As Nepalis when we talk about the food we used to eat back home in those small bhattis with home made specialities, we know how tasty they were. I would like to think of sajha forum as one of those home made dish, instead of a microwaveable food that you can buy off the shelf.
