Mexican Mafia's Wages Of Sin Catholic Bishop Roman Godinez sparked controversy this week when he admitted that Mexican drug gangs regularly donate money to local churches, and caused even more fuss when he suggested the cash became 'purified' once the church got hold of it. "Just because the origin of the money is bad doesn't mean you have to burn it," Bishop Godinez from the central state of Aguascalientes told the Bradenton Herald, "Instead, you have to transform it. . . We live on this, on the offerings of the faithful." The scandal emerged soon after Mexico's oldest newspaper El Manana reported that some drug gangs such as the notorious Zetas have adopted certain Old Testament style practises including feeding victims to lions which they mentioned in a piece revealing that journalists also now targets for assassination. "Drug battles have become bloodier, and gangs have no code of ethics," El Manana's managing editor Daniel Rosas complained, "They don't respect human life; why should they respect reporters?" (Lexington Herald-Leader) Both reports matched the findings of a new study published in the Journal of Religion and Society examining Christian fundamentalist claims that religious belief reduces criminality, which instead concluded that America's god-fearing communities are much more crime ridden than secular ones, 'sometimes spectacularly so'. "In general, higher rates of belief in and worship of a creator correlate with higher rates of homicide, juvenile and adult mortality, STD (sexually transmitted diseases), infection rates, teen pregnancy and abortion," said study author Gregory Paul. http://www.timesonline.co.uk/article/0,,2-1798944,00.html ('Rates of gonorrhoea in adolescents in the US were up to 300 times higher than in less devout democratic countries. The US also suffered from "uniquely high" adolescent and adult syphilis infection rates . . .')

Opps sorry to make u gag, wus not me intention. Thousand Apologies !!! he he FBI Desperately Seeking Dopers America's secret police force the FBI are having so much trouble finding clean living citizens that they're considering hiring former drug users, the Washington Post reported this week. Drug users who've quit will be able to apply for intelligence analyst posts and will be judged on 'their likelihood of future usage', the paper said, rather than the current rigid cut off point of 15 marijuana sessions ever. "Recreational marijuana use is a fact of life nowadays," specialist lawyer Mark Zaid said, on welcoming the changes, "It doesn't stop Supreme Court justices from getting on the bench and doesn't stop presidents from getting elected, so why should it stop someone from getting hired by the FBI?" The FBI's move emerged 18 months after Britain's MI5 started hiring ''ex-junkies and crooks' (News Of the World) following similar problems in hiring enough straight edge secret agents. The James Bond style organisation had previously tried traditional recruitment advertising in Britain's national press, with disappointing results, said the Independent in 2002. "The first time MI5 advertised in the Guardian it got 14,000 applications," an MI5 source told the paper, "Thirteen thousand were in need of serious medical help. Open recruiting attracts people who have confused MI5 with the SAS," he explained. https://www.fbijobs.gov (FBI jobs: 'It is like no other career choice you've explored. It's challenging. Compelling. Important. It is like no other career choice you've explored. It's challenging. Compelling. Important'.) http://www.mi6.gov.uk/output/Page4.html (Careers within MI6: 'Staff who join SIS can look forward to a career that will have moments when the gap narrows just a little and the certainty of a stimulating and rewarding career which, like Bond's, will be in the service of their country . . .') http://www.cronyjobs.com ('PRESIDENTIAL PALS & BACKERS: "Apply" now to secure a lucrative career both decrying and luxuriating in the spoils of Big Government! Dear Tech Support: Last year I upgraded from Girlfriend 7.0 to Wife 1.0. I soon noticed that the new program began with unexpected child processing that took up a lot of space and valuable resources. In addition, Wife 1.0 installed itself into all other programs and now monitors all other system activities such as: Poker Night 10.3, Football 5.0 and Golf 7.5 I can't seem to keep Wife 1.0 in the background while attempting to run my favorite applications. I'm thinking about going back to Girlfriend 7.0, but the uninstall doesn't work on Wife 1.0. Please HELP!! Thanks, A Troubled User ---------- REPLY ---------- Dear Troubled User: This is a very, very common problem that men complain about. Many people upgrade from Girlfriend 7.0 to Wife 1.0, thinking that it is just a Utilities and Entertainment program. Wife 1.0 is an OPERATING SYSTEM and is designed by its Creator to run EVERYTHING!! It is also impossible to delete Wife 1.0 and to return to Girlfriend 7.0. It is impossible to uninstall or purge the program files from the system once installed. You cannot go back to Girlfriend 7.0 because Wife 1.0 is designed to not allow this. Look in your Wife 1.0 manual under Warnings - Alimony/Child Support. I recommend that you keep Wife 1.0 and work on improving the situation. I also suggest installing the background application "Yes Dear" to alleviate software augmentation. The best course of action is to enter the command C:APOLOGIZE because ultimately you will have to give the APOLOGIZE command before the system will return to normal anyway. Wife 1.0 is a great program, but it tends to be very high maintenance! It comes with several support programs, such as: Clean and Sweep 3.0, Cook 1.5 and Do Bills 4.2. However, be very careful how you use these programs; improper use will cause the system to launch the program Nag Nag 9.5. Once this happens, the only way to improve the performance of Wife 1.0 is to purchase additional software. I recommend: Flowers 2.1, Hugs 4.3 and especially Diamonds 5.0 WARNING!! DO NOT, under any circumstances, install Secretary with Short Skirt 3.3. This application is not supported by Wife 1.0 and will cause irreversible damage to the operating system. Best of luck, Tech Support

Are Computers Men or Women? A language teacher was explaining to her class that in French, nouns unlike their English counterparts, are grammatically designated as masculine or feminine. "House" in French, is feminine -"la maison," "Pencil" in French, is masculine "le crayon." One puzzled student asked, "What gender is computer?" The teacher did not know, and the word was not in her French dictionary. So for fun she split the class into two groups appropriately enough, by gender and asked them to decide whether "computer" should be a masculine or a feminine noun. Both groups were required to give four reasons for their recommendation. The men's group decided that computer should definitely be of the feminine gender ("la computer"), because 1 No one but their creator understands their internal logic 2 The native language they use to communicate with other computers is incomprehensible to everyone else 3 Even the smallest mistakes are stored in long term memory for possible later review 4 As soon as you make a commitment to one, you find yourself spending half your paycheque on accessories for it. The women's group, however, concluded that computers should be masculine "le computer") because: 1 In order to do anything with them, you have to turn them on. 2 They have a lot of data but still can't think for themselves 3 They are supposed to help you solve problems, but half the time they ARE the problem 4 As soon as you commit to one, you realise that if you had waited a little longer you could have gotten a better model.
