Newlynew there is no travel restrictions but u can't bring ur spouse back to US.He/she has to wait another 5 years if u just got greencard.

Yes, this is another dark side of the US immigration system that a lot of people are unaware about. The prez and the repubs keep thumping about the family values and blah blah, yet a husband / wives / children have to be separated for 5 plus years, and that too for the very legal permanent residents of this country. Nevermind, that the H1, F1 or B1 can bring the spouse with them right away.
