Soft porn hiding under the freedom of speech. Just look at the picture of those women. Do you see that in your standard newspaper/magazine? I am talking about newspaper that are labelled "liberal." I am not talking about some far-right anti-abortion, pro-death penalty, anti-gay magazine which you might think will condemn such a thing (soft-porn).

So now sajha in a cloak of "all inclusive" has resorted to showing half-naked, provocative pictures of women in a suggestive postures. How has the traffic been? Must be great especially by those who are sexually repressed Nepali males. Must be clogging the Sajha highway. I wonder if it translates into revienue. Ya know just wonderin'.

I'm a little confused about how to catagorize those ramjham photos. It's becoming more like underwear models. I compare it to victoria secret ads on TV during prime time. I don't see much difference between the VS models trotting on undies in ads and those posted in ramjham.

We dont' complain to VS or TV stations for airing those ads but why do we have problems when something like that is in sajha?

Maybe the posting came off as a complain, it was meant to be a comment. I was wondering. It was an observation. TV's air these soft porn pictures for revenues. That was why I was asking about revenue too. I am not prude. It was just a bit jarring to see these pictures -one after another in their teddies - when I was not expecting them to see. Also people do draw comparison between those modes (the VS catalogue actually) and soft porns.

Another point is that the difference between still photographs and a 3 minutes ad. It is just convenient to ogle at those picutres and quench the thirst here in Sajha, don't you think? Please don't think that I am not aware of the argument of consenting adults either.

I guess as long as they don't show their nipples a la' Janet Jackson people do not make a racket. Or would they? Perhaps Sajha viewers are much more liberal when it comes to sexuality. Any comment?

Sajha has over time, evolved.Change, while being inevitable does not necessarily equate to progress.We do hear alot of the old-timers griping and most of them gradually leaving this website .Coming in only occasionally to see if it has gone back to what it used to be. The admin people are ,as most of us , aware that the pictures just seem to be getting more and more ludicrous to put it mildly. they have it in their hands to clean up their act. This website surely does not need that kind of enticement. Or does it?

I was comparing with the victoria secret advertisements on TV aired on prime time. I don't see much difference in the models' attires that we need to denounce the ones posted on sajha.

I don't see how letting others post those pictures increases sajha's revenue. I see one ad in all photos in ramjham. Not sure how it is translating to revenue - besides possibly attracting a more younger crowd into sajha.

Perhaps the ones shown on sajha should be event photos only and the others left on ramjham for people who are interested to go there directly.
