. I do not think Indian selectors need big names for bangladesh tour. Not everyday is like Bangladesh's day, not that I'm trying to sound over-confident but spotlighting the reality. Moreover, they do need to rest their good players and conserve their energy for bigger matches in the future. :-)

It seems that not only India but also Indian supporter's arrogancy is still not gone. :p Someone needs to watch the recent match between Bangladesh and world no.1 South Africa. India was the only country which did not welcome the tour of Bangladesh despite many requests. Now, they've decided to make their first ever tour in the same country after embarrassing defeat in the world cup so that their moral could be raised after winning from the series. But I wonder what their moral would be if it turned otherwise.

Well, what I think is it's just another tactic to settle the debacle with cleverness. Axing and Resting may sound different but it could be just another way of settling the ongoing debate. Remember, when Pakistan were knocked out in the first round in last World Cup, almost 6 or 7 senior players were axed including Yousuf Youhana, Inzamam, Afridi and many others. But they eventually were taken into the squad once things settled down. Right now, everyone is talking about axing senior players and the committee has to act. Well, I could be wrong but that's what I think.
