Hey guys this thread is for person who couldn't make h1b this year. I know for sure we will be applying next year in april 2008 . So till october 2008 we need to stay in status.One possibility is we can go to school for above time period and once we have h1 then we can somehow start working. Is there other possibility guys you have in mind?It would be better if people here can share their ideas..

but how the hell is anyone going to be able to apply for H1B twice,,once your OPT period is over,,u cannot work,,and unless yu have a good dhoti recruiter who is willing to file your H1B application even before you could actually start working for him ( while u get into some schoool next year) how is it is possible?

perhaps go to india and get hold of some IT consultant and get them to file your H1B,,while u work in india,..they dont require you to have OPT or any other work permit to work there while they file your H1B..

Go to some school and apply for H1b next year through an Indain recruiter. There are a lot of Indains who will apply H1b even before you start working.
