See guys, we used to think gagan thapa is a little bit different from a traditional conservative and narrowminded nepali leaders but his recent activities and political movements , i mean his activity against expelling indian "dhogis" from pashuparinath temple are clear example of his real face!! don't u think so??

I agree with NEpal bir ,I mean I used to think from his fluent and some speeches that he may be a good among bad but the way he is practising politics desnot show he is anyway different from anyone else.
I will definitely support putting a NEpali in Pashupati Nath temple and maintaining transparency in donations.But This "gagan thapa" was just making politics for no reason and even against a good work .Anyone has to do that Mambadi did, it doesnot mean that whatever mambadi does is bad???

I think the selection of the priest should be based upon exam given to the prospective candidates by a panel of judges. Whoever has the most vedic knowledge should be granted the honor be it nepali or indian. There are nepali priest in temples of hare krishna (ISKON) in USA which is an organization that started in india.

As for gagan goes, he may be not your ideal raja ram but he is not the worst.

I have no dooubt he looked a bit better then mainstream Nepali congress leaders that was the only reason he was that popular ,he never put forth any new vision but just copy pasted ideas of public mainly communists even though he was congress.I was impressed by his fluent speech in front of all lousy congresses.I never expected a congress leader to be better than gagan but I was hopeful at least he will stand for true NEpali.
