As far as I know, the canadian you need be in status to immigrate to canada from the US. However, please do double check.

You don't need to be in status to immigrate to Canada. Yes, you can apply from USA and it would be quicker as well. My friend just immigrated to Canada. Canadian immigration doesn't care about your status as long as you meet their criteria. Good luck.

I heard the same u can immigrate from here, and is quicker also. But, can process only within 1 yr, Visa BIGREPASHI. So better consult regarding this. I came across another too that one of my friend was in the same situation ani RAJNITI SARANARTHI applied just to go Canada PR, but stucked. So better do some more research. Regards. Good Luck

thank you MN nepali, allegro and nissan2006. Thank you for the information. As far as i know nissan2006, no one can apply for Canada saranarthi if you have been living in USA.They have some agreement that wherever you land first, you apply there not the other one.. within one year? Tht sounds fast, i mean at least on fast track.. i am guessing from buffalo? please feel free to share more info you got anymore. Thanks alot
