man i have a jailbroken iphone and i try to install the app but it requires username n pw what should i do

I believe, you have to have a username and password from iTune to download any app to iPhone ..

Go to iTune and create one ..

I downloaded this app,must say... nice little app...:) ..thanks a ton!!!...Just was curious: is this open source, if yes, where can i have a look at it...

nice app, downloaded. Still needs few brushups i guess. crashed on me a few times but great effort.

I gave up on the objective C, learning curve but like someone else said. if it was open, could you release the source code.

P.S can sajha not come up with a mobile version.

Its not clear on mine guys whats the problem..........

I am also having problem.. It takes too long to buffer and even when its on its not clear..some of the stations doesn't work at all.it quits automatically and sometime it says 'attempts to play streaming audio failed'..Thanks for trying though :)

I have same problem as yours Cosmo. It crashes frequently and only Sagarmatha FM is clear. However  I would say good effort. It would be great if you manage to fix all those bugs.

the link for "Kantipur FM " is broken .. It does not even works on kantipur fm 's website .. Kantipur FM will start working when they fix the steaming issue . If you can listen kantipur Fm on the computer but not in iPhone app . then please let me know .. I tested this link the time i submitted to the app store .. and it worked great . unfortunately  .. the link is broken now .. I also updated the info on app page of app store.


Regarding ..the noise on some FM channels, I have no freaking idea why that is happening .. I used the streaming link from NepalNews.com for Hits FM and their streaming is not that smooth and clear even when you play in computer .. other FM should stream just fine .. I am playing now and I have no issue.

About the time to buffer ,, if you use 2G .. it may take some time and also depends on your cell network signal .. if you using 3g or wifi .. you should be just fine,, I have never have any issue.

It runs well on wifi, havnt tested on 3g.

for those having problems with crashing. Try restarting the iPhone and then run it. works.

The problem with buffering and not connecting is probably because. the source is not his, he is probably just borrowing links... if kantipur, sagarmatha updates then we are SOL.

To the developer,
You need to allow us to add stations, that way if the station changes we can change ourself. (e.g fstream app)

Yellow is right !! but I can make the list of fm links out side of iphone application ( may be in an xml file hosted on my website) then if fm link is changed, I can just change the XML file ..

I will try to add a feature to allow to add stations in my next version

Will it be diffcult for you develop similar app for symbian based mobile device ? I have internet radio on my nokia e90 but i can not play most of the nepali FMs as it seems nokia interent radio supports only http streaming.
