GNN. Singapore, September 1, 2009. Intelligence officers from SPD (Singapore Police Department) and KLPD (Kuala Lumpur Police Department) have, in an undercover stint operation, arrested Mr. Paras Bir Bikram Shah Dev from his penthouse apartment in downtown Singapore.
After the news of his involvement was out in the Indian news, the undercover operation had to move in quickly before the ex-prince had time to move any assets or foil the combined investigation.
A team of agents entered the penthouse apartment owned by the ex-prince and carried out a sweep in which Rs. 50 Crore worth of fake currency was found tucked inside of false wood panels in the closets.
In addition the team was able to find $12.5 million US currency in two suitcases all in crisp $100 bills. The ex prince is known for his expensive taste including his Lamborghini for which he is said to have paid in cash.
In a recent interview to his childhood friend, Bhushan Dahal, the prince is said to have lamented over him being called a "Playboy". "These stupid newspapers call me a playboy, but believe me when I go anywhere people know who I am and even the women they stay away from me." Paras lamented.

Goh Chiak Seng is another accomplice that they are looking for in connection with this arrest.
Ex-King Gyayanendra was not available for comment. He is currently in New Delhi for this cousin's wedding. He was supposed to visit
Dalai Lama in the next few days.
