Did you guys hear about the terrorists' (Maoists) new move? They want to change the national flag of my lovely country "Nepal?" Next they are willing to change the country's name as well. Its not a big deal for them who needs change and just change. They even changed their fathers, their mothers. So, changing other things does not matter them but it matters to other Nepalese. If you are a Nepalese, you might have been proud of your only "non rectangular" (unique) flag in the world, but these terrorists are not even Nepalese.

We have our own good old triangular flag

we need change. NEW FLAG MUST HAVE LOTS OF COLOR..LIKE RAINBOW...GAY&LESB FRIENDLY FLAG..

I am also proud of our unique triangular flag with sun and moon.

This does not surprise me at all, neither makes me angry. We
do have habit of our leader’s meaningless notion, don’t we?  I was listening in news the other day that seven
districts in our country are facing famine while others are celebrating dashain.
I am sure Prachanda or Maoist has not bothered a bit to talk about this. Why
they will? They are busy in game planning how to bulldoze this government and
of course selecting color of our new flag. We have numerous immediate issues,
need to be fixed. Food and medicine scarcity, wretched security, swelling
unemployment, mounting price for basics, crippled economy..........I can carry on
for next couple of hours. If our political parties fix only few of these problems,
I don’t have problem in waving our new national flag.

Being honest to myself I was a huge fan of Maoist till they were in Governtment but now they prove that they are असामाजिक आतंककारी तत्तो हरु । आफ्नो कुरा पुर गर्न सुजता जस्तो केटी को पछी लाग्ने पार्टी को भर हुन्न अनी झन्डा को कुरा त सुन्दै रगत उम्लेर आयो । यो माओवादी को नेपाली राजनीति बाट जाने निउ मात्र हो । पशुपती चलये सरकार बाट गये अब झन्डा चलाओ नेपाली जनता को भावना सँग खेलो अनी आफ्नो अस्तिस्त्तो नै घुमाओ ।

I am just curious, why hasn't prachanda, baburam and other been trialed for war crime after all they killed thousands of innocent nepali people?

maybe they don't know our current national flag stands out in the crowd of flags.

There are many more issues with urgent attention then to hastely try to wipe out all the history we have in the follish attempt to make a new Nepal. I believe and everyone else too, that New Nepal making should be from what we already have, not assume we are are creating it out of zero. Watch where the foot is landing and plan the move, not take the stride and trample our own unity and soveriginity. Is it already not enough humilation when the natioal flag gets burned and we remain mute spectator.
