Hi guys! I am about to move to Harrisburg, Pennsylavania but I wanted to know there are some Nepalese before I move so that I wont feel lonely. Please let me know if there is Nepalese society or Nepalese store or Nepalese cafe or if u live in Harrisburg.

I think it would be difficult to find much of a Nepali community in Harrisburg, PA.  There are a few Nepalis at Penn State about 2 hours from Harrisburg.  Also you might find some in Philadelphia, another 2 hours away.  There is a small college in Carlisle, PA.  If no one has replied to you from Harrisburg, you will probably have a difficult time finding anyone there.  Pittsburgh about 3 hours away has several Nepali students and families.  There is also a large Indian community in Pittsburgh.

hi i live near harrisburg its 20 minutes drive from harrisburg. harrisburg have few nepalese people and they have one nepali restaurant too. its called aagan.  .

Nepali Community: None
Nepali Cafe: None
Harrisburg is pretty much refugees. There are few families. Phili is 1.5 hrs, you can find lot of folks and hang out with them during weekend.

thank you for the data, so looks like no other Nepali then Nepali Bhutanese Refugee ? I know there are Nepali in phily but don't want to drive 1 and half hour for hang out. I was looking for some friends and family's close by anyone around please suggest.

Onething aobut Bhutanese : They loved Nepal and kept Neplai culture where ever they went and go. These are better than neo-Nepalese who migrated from Tibet and India, always loyal where they came from.
I do no not understand some of our felllow nepali who hated Bhutanese and DV winnners so much.
